Side Table Makeover {chess or checkers anyone}

My garage sale side table find is now done with his makeover!!!

Anyone up for a game of chess or checkers?
I'm naming him "knight"
You can see more before pictures HERE.

The darker color is Martha Stewart: Crevecoeur

The beauty of this piece is you will never have to pull out a large chess board or checkers board. I'm on the look out for some game pieces and a basket for the under side to keep them in.

I'm not a fan of the new handle, so I'm looking for a new one. I like the original handle but it's brass, so I might just spray paint it white and glaze it.

This is what it looked like BEFORE. You can see more before pic's HERE.

  1. Beautiful! I'm actually in the process of working on a Chess side table so it was fun to spy one on MMS's feature friday. Love your colors, and the lines on your table are wonderful! Deb
