Falling For Autumn Tablescape Blog Hop

I have been so excited to put this Fall Tablescape together for months now! I've also joined some amazing blog friends at the end of this post to share their beautiful tablescapes as well, so I hope you'll go check them out after!
Last year I went with soft colors like blue, white and gray. This year I was feeling the deeper tones, but trying to keep it elegant. When I started planning this tablescape in my head the only thing I knew I wanted was wheat lining the center of the table, brass candle sticks and pears! I didn't know if I was going to use the pears for the centerpiece or the place settings though. I'll usually buy elements that I like and play with them until I come up with something that I like! I always say buy what you like & if it doesn't work you can return it.

Once I had the table garland done and saw how full it was, I decided to use the faux pears at the place settings. Since I hate to waste anything, I used some the dried Eucalyptus leaves that had fallen off of the bush for name tags and just hot glued them to the pears. I used a ink chalk pen to write the names on the leaves.

The table garland is a mix of Seeded Faux Eucalyptus & Dried Eucalyptus from Hobby Lobby. I wanted rich tones for the garland ang by adding in the deep green and burgundy eucalyptus I was able to achieve that! I loved the wood lotus flowers that came on a stem, so I plucked them off the stems and placed them throughout the garland to add interest.

To bring the garland out a little in the center of the table I just cut some Magnolia leaves off our tree out back. I still haven't refinished our table leaf and you can see what the top used to look like.

Dressing up dinner rolls with some paper doilies and string is an easy and inexpensive way to make it look more elegant.

I LOVE lace if you haven't noticed! haha
The texture it can add to plain area, I just love it! I had cut the lace for a placemat in another table setting but turned them the long ways this time creating a vertical table runner at each place setting. Since the centerpiece is very full and stands out, I went with simple white plates stacked. They each have a different design or shape, so it's not too plain.

A simple wheat sprig was added to each plate as well. I love the natural color and texture of the wheat and I could have it all over my house! haha
Kind of like at Christmas time, when I put out 22 mini Christmas trees!😊

I decided to use pumpkins on the brass candle sticks to give different height variations. Since the wheat was tall, long candles in the candle sticks may have competed with the wheat. This way there are visual steps in the centerpiece.

I hope you've enjoyed this Fall table setting and that you'll continue on and visit my friends listed below!
