Who doesn't need more picture frames?? This one will be easy to change out the picture whenever you want to too!
I have some good scrap wood laying around in my garage that I have been wanting to put to use.
I am one that is guilt of buying craft stuff "just because" and I had a few strips of wood trim for years back that I needed to get off my shelf as well.
DIY Nautical Picture Frame using scrap wood.
Scrap Wood
I chose to paint stripes but you can stencil, decoupage, stain or paint anything you like...endless possibilities:)
I used my "little" miter box to cut the angles in the trim and wood glue to attach it to the frame.
Rope like trim.
Gave the trim a navy blue paint job and glued on a small clothes pin to hold the picture. I LOVE clothes pins!!
This was very simple to make and I hope it will give you some creative ideas!
