Welcome to the Spring into an Easter Table Blog Hop! I've teamed up with some amazing friends to bring you all Easter Table Setting inspiration! So excited you've stopped by and hope you'll go onto my friend Haley's table setting at Stately Home Lane to continue in the blog hop!
I enjoyed creating a colorful, elegant but yet relaxing table setting. I used items I already had, I did purchase the brass candle sticks and turquoise jar recently that fit into the setting perfectly.
A mix of paper, plastic and tea cup saucers blend just fine with each other.

The brass candle sticks started the inspiration for this setting! I remembered my husband had brass goblets that his grandmother gave him probably 15+ years ago. Dollar Tree is a great place for inexpensive chargers and the gold complimented the brass just right.
The scalloped lace pattern in the turquoise vase matches the scalloped edge in the purple paper plates.
Over the years my style has changed but one thing always stays the same, decorate on a budget! I buy used items off of classified pages, thrift stores, garage sales, etc. Some things I'm not always sure what I'll use them for but at such a great price, I'll find a use! haha Like the vintage cream napkins I use in all of my place settings! I picked them up for $4 for 12!
I clipped leaves off of the lambs ear stems I have and made little bunny ears pocking out of the lace napkin holders by just clipping the lace with a mini cloths pin.
Around the base of the vase I added little nests with an egg nestled in them! It's the little details that fill space that can add interest to a basic vase. Try placing a vase in a tray and fill with flowers around it too!
The white candles and the flowers in the pink jar are from Dollar Tree as well!
I found the sweetest bunny pillow at Ross and with so much color going on on the table a neutral pillow is perfect!
Hope you enjoyed this whimsical table scape and please go on and visit my friends in our Spring into an Easter Table Blog Hop!!
Desiree, it looks absolutely gorgeous. I love the touches of brass, and the painted Easter eggs. You've paid attention to every single beautiful detail.
ReplyDeleteDesiree! This is so feminine and beautiful! The brass goblets with the eggs are my fave!! I love the moss bunny’s too, so cute!! You are a master!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty table with all of the sweet pastels and soft touches! Of course the first thing that caught my eye was the lace napkin rings! I remember the first time we met the use of lace flowers on the wreath you made. I remember you had quite a stash of lace to use! The addition of the pair of lamb's ears to make those napkin rings into bunnies is perfect! Your new home looks lovely and I didn't miss the sweet bunny garland up on the wall! It is such a joy to "hop" with you!
ReplyDeleteSweet Desiree! Gahhh...everything is just so dang perfect! I love it all. The details of the flowers are stunning, and your creative way of using things around the home is the best. Your photography always makes me swoon. Such a creative beautiful girl you are! So happy to be hopping these easter tables with you doll!
ReplyDeleteLove the pretty soft pastels. Your home looks so lovely all decked out for Easter. Very cute napkin rings. Love the florals, so inviting.
