Side Table Makeover {chess or checkers anyone}

My garage sale side table find is now done with his makeover!!!

Anyone up for a game of chess or checkers?
I'm naming him "knight"

The darker color is Martha Stewart: Crevecoeur

The beauty of this piece is you will never have to pull out a large chess board or checkers board. I'm on the look out for some game pieces and a basket for the under side to keep them in.

 

I'm not a fan of the new handle, so I'm looking for a new one. I like the original handle but it's brass, so I might just spray paint it white and glaze it.

Christmas Wrap

Merry Christmas All!!

I'm just doing a quick post with some pictures of my wrap this year.

I used my Martha Stewart stencils to add a little something to my 3M shipping paper.

Everyone received our handmade ornament as well.
