Hitting The Bottles
The bottle business is keeping me BUSY! Along with it being summer and I have been on the go with my two boys:)
This one was a custom order for four Halloween inspired labels.
The Crown Royal bottle was an order for TWO of them:)
And this lovely one with the bird and swirl on it was made to match my client/friends logo!

I have two more custom orders that I'm working on now plus two bottles that sold in my Etsy Shop.
I have finished the dining room set and I am hoping to stage and photograph it later today:)

DIY Soap Pump Conversion
First you will need a REALLY sharp knife AND BE CAREFUL!!
I cut around the ENTIRE cork to "loosen" the top from the bottom.
You will have about 5-6 slices going down.
At this point you can now cut or pull the top part of the cork from the bottom part.
TIP: drill a hole in one side, not going through the other end. Then turn your cork around and drill THROUGH. I found that this helped with making "strait center" hole. The first time I did this it went out the side wall at the end.
Gradually move your bit around to make a LARGE hole...you may need to do this a few times to get it tight enough without ripping the cork open.
Then slide your pump down into the cork and push it all the way to the top of the pump.
And as for some other bottles...the pumps just screw on!

And this was a custom order that I did....I LOVE the idea's I get from customers. I'm doing another set right now for "soap" and "lotion"

Up-Cycled Soap Dispensers { Patron Bottles }
I have been taking Patron bottles home with me from work for some time now because I think they are just to pretty to through away! I started using the Patron bottles for vases and I gave several to my mom. The bottles look really nice in a grouping and I have a stock pile for decorating for others parties and such.
I got to thinking....what else can I do with these??
Soap Dispenser!
Now, you can see in the second photo my mini Patron bottle with nothing painted on it and it's cute but I wanted a little more "something" to them.
This one is SOLD!
Vintage Labels!!!
So I am now hand painting vintage inspired soap labels on the bottles.
It takes a VERY STEADY hand to paint glass and even more so doing lines and letters.
On to the PUMPS!! I am very pleased with the pumps I found online from One Dream Design. They offer
several different styles and finishes.
