Anyone else obsessed with embroidery hoops? So simple to use and I think very versatile. They have a very vintage feel to them but yet updated with the right art inside of them.
The Easter banner is from Kirkland's and the pom pom garland I made with jute twin and pom poms from Target Dollar Spot as well.
I found a template of a bunny silhouette that I liked, printed it and cut it out.
I traced the silhouette with chalk and didn't worry about being exact with the tracing. Its difficult to be exact with burlap.
I used a 10 in. embroidery hoop to hang it. It was a little bit of a challenge to get it to fit! I had to close the top part slightly and stretch/squeeze the outer part to get it to go on and close it as tight as possible.
I painted the bunny in with white paint, let it dry and put a bow on him.
I used pink jute twine that I picked up at Target Dollar Spot for the little bow on the neck.
Loving the Dollar Spot at Target this year!!
Come back next week for the tutorial on how to make that tissue paper tassel hanging above him:)

Your bunny art is so cute! I have a bunch of embroidery hoops lying around, I really should try this.
