Mini Natural Christmas Wreaths

Years ago I would craft a lot of our Christmas décor and as life became busier, I crafted less! This year I'm excited to be in our new home and really get it done up for Christmas! I love seeing wreaths on all the interior doors on Pinterest but that can get very pricey depending on what kind of wreath you go with. Grapevine wreaths are really inexpensive compared to others and add a beautiful touch of nature. Like they say, "bring the outdoors in."
I was able to make these for .60 cents each!

I purchased the mini grapevine wreaths from Hobby Lobby. A two pack is $1.99! The holy sprigs are from Hobby Lobby as well & are $2.99 each but all of their Christmas décor was 40% off and one sprig will make about two or three wreaths! I had some mini pinecones and painted the tips white. I also had the ribbon already from Target Dollar Spot.

I started with the wreath and pulled two of each of the wire sprigs from the holly bunch, two are just leaves and two with the red berries. I painted the tips of the pinecones white first so that they would be dry by the time I was ready to attach them to the wreath.

I used floral wire to attach the pinecones to the wreath by just wrapping it around the base of the pinecone creating a U shape.

Since the holly floral bush already comes as wire bush you can easily just shove and wrap the berry stems into the grapevine wreath, two on each side leaving a little space in the middle for the pinecone. You can always add more pinecones if you like too. I was using what I had and I only had enough for one on each wreath. A little tip too for small pinecones, I have several saved from potpourri that lost its scent.

Then you wrap the wire from your pinecone around the wreath. Add whatever ribbon you would like for the top and you're done!

Hope this gets your creative juices flowing for a handmade Christmas!
