With Summer coming to an end and Fall around the corner I'm so excited to be joining some very talented blogging/Instagram friends for some yummy Summer drink ideas! I hope you'll go visit them at the end of this post for our Summer Sips Blog Hop! Since we just got back from visiting Savannah for the first time I thought it would be fun to use peaches, and you can never go wrong with strawberries! We're not big drinkers in our house so I wanted to create something that kids and adults could enjoy.
INGREDIANTS
- 7 frozen strawberries
- one lemon: squeeze 1/2 of a lemon in each smoothie mixture
- frozen peaches: about 2 cups
- 1 teaspoon of organic sugar: in each mixture
- Simply Lemonade with Razzberries: about 1 cup in each mixture
- 4 ice cubes in each mixture
- Moscato if you're making the adult version
DIRECTIONS
Here's how I made these Strawberry Peach Lemonade Smoothies. To turn it into an adult beverage just add Moscato to the smoothie!
Start by rubbing a lemon wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it into sugar, I use organic sugar and add your garnish to the rim. Blend your first batch, I did peaches first and poured it into a ziplock bag in hopes of swirling the two flavors like icing. FAIL! haha
It's ok though because I was still able to not mix the two flavors so you can see the two colors. My kids felt so special getting to have a fancy drink like this and on a hot Summer day these really hit the spot!
Save for later and Pin to Pinterest!
I hope you've enjoyed this drink recipe and that you'll go stop by my friends listed below for some other refreshing drinks!
Peaches are my absolute favorite summer fruit, and this looks so delicious! I'll definitely be making this for the kids!
