Christmas Home Tour 2018

Welcome to our home for the holidays! I'm honored & so excited to be joining 21 other bloggers this week for the 2018 Tour of Homes Blog Hop! You can tour the other homes at the end of my post & you can find last years Christmas home tour here!
It's fun to look back and see how our styles change through the years.

I love different styles of Christmas this year so our home has a little mix of Winter Wonderland in the dining room, classic in the bedroom & vintage in the living room.

"Tis the season for my favorite décor!"

The dining room is where I play. The kids don't go in there much and my style always leans more to the famine side. White, gold, light wood tones & blush was the look I wanted for this room.I feel like adding the naturel elements of the pinecones, tree logs and that light colored wood tone (like in the bottle brush trees) helped make it feel less formal.

Dining Room

The gold mirror is what inspired the look this year in the dining room! I got for free on FB marketplace after driving 45 min. away and two of the corners were broken off. She felt bad and gave it to me!

The garland on this vignette is a mix of sage green frosted garland mixed with some Spring florals.

I've had this pinecone garland for years and LOVE it! I'm enjoying it hung from the chandelier this year.

Kept the table very simple with how full the tree and side cabinet are.

Master Bedroom

This is where I kept the décor classic with just some garland and bows.

You can see more of our master bedroom HERE!

Living Room

I did some crafting and made (well, tweaked store bought) stockings this year. You can find the stocking tutorial HERE!

Kitchen

Front Door
This is what you would see leaving our home tour!

I didn't spend any money on the entryway this year. Just picked up some fresh greens from Home Depot and added to a garland that I already had for the base. Same with the wreath, I filled it up and kept it very natural and wild looking. Filled the black planters with some fresh greens and found sticks from the yard to add texture. Keeping with the red and green, I popped faux poinsettia's around the base of the greens to make it pop just a little more.

The Joy tag was from Target Dollar Spot last year and it's the perfect size for a wreath!

It's been a pleasure showing you our home for Christmas 2018! Hope you've enjoyed it and you'll go visit the other homes in the list below!
